This long weekend we were able to catch up with long time friends, Jackie and her family was in town from Vancouver and Liz from New York.It was a great afternoon. We feel blessed to have friendships where months can go by between contact and things pick up again as if it was only yesterday we last got together.
The kids played together, we talked and laughed, it was a really good time.
Pace and I talked this morning and given our current circumstances we're both a bit envious of their stability. Its facile I know, and so much easier to look at our friends' greener grass.
We'll be finished most of this by the end of December and by that time we will be living a new chapter in our lives.
